Epic. That’s what I’d call this weekend. Oh sure I’ve had heaps of other amazing weekends, but this one, this beats them all. To finish 10 years of the most incredible journey with the most incredible people I call my family, I don’t think we could have ended in a better fashion. 

I’m truly humbled by the number of people that came to support both Wakemeupmusic as well as Surreal and the other bands. I’m even more touched by the various individuals that came up to me and thanked me for changing their lives in some way. For the first time in my life, I’m left speechless (trust me that’s a rare occurence). 

So here’s my thanks:

- To the people that decided to spend their weekend with us; I acknowledge whatever effort you took to make the time. I hope you had as much fun as we did.

- To the WMUM family (bands, crew and everyone else involved), we’ll remember the years and tell the stories to our kids.

- To my guys in Surreal (Jon Chan, John Chiong, Luke Teo, Marcus Wong, Milton Sau, Daren Goh); I am the luckiest vocalist around, to be blessed with some of the most talented and passionate musicians I know. If I had actual brothers, I reckon they’d be like you.

Let’s look to new beginnings.
